Article D6362-15 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Within fifteen days of receipt of the new deliberation, the territorial audit chamber, if it deems the remedial measures adopted to be sufficient, notifies the State representative, the local authority or its public establishment concerned of an opinion in which it takes note.

Within the same timeframe and if it deems the corrective measures adopted to be insufficient, the Chamber notifies the representative of the State, the local authority or its public establishment concerned, of a reasoned opinion with a view to settling the budget under the conditions provided for in Article LO 6362-4.

Dans les quinze jours de la réception de la nouvelle délibération, la chambre territoriale des comptes, si elle estime suffisantes les mesures de redressement adoptées, notifie au représentant de l’Etat, à la collectivité ou à son établissement public concerné un avis par lequel elle en prend acte.

Dans le même délai et si elle estime insuffisantes les mesures de redressement adoptées, la chambre notifie au représentant de l’Etat, à la collectivité ou à son établissement public concerné, un avis motivé en vue du règlement du budget dans les conditions prévues à l’article LO 6362-4.
