Article D6362-9 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

When the State representative refers the matter to the territorial audit chamber, in accordance with Article LO 6362-2, he shall attach to this referral all the information and documents, mentioned in Article D. 6362-1, which are essential for drawing up the budget, as well as the documents establishing that this information and documents have been communicated to the local authority or its public body concerned.

All the budgets and budgetary decisions relating to the previous financial year are also attached to the referral.

Lorsque le représentant de l’Etat saisit la chambre territoriale des comptes, conformément à l’article LO 6362-2, il joint à cette saisine l’ensemble des informations et documents, mentionnés à l’article D. 6362-1, indispensables à l’établissement du budget, ainsi que les pièces établissant que ces informations et documents ont été communiqués à la collectivité ou à son établissement public intéressé.

L’ensemble des budgets et décisions budgétaires afférents à l’exercice précédent sont également joints à la saisine.
