Article D71-114-13 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The president of the local authority shall submit to the local authority’s accounting officer, duly summarised on an issue slip, a true copy of all leases, contracts, judgments, wills, declarations, statements of recovery, new titles and other documents, concerning the revenue the collection of which is entrusted to him.

The accounting officer may request, if necessary, that the originals of documents forming a title in favour of the local authority be submitted to him against receipt.

Le président de la collectivité remet au comptable de la collectivité, dûment récapitulée sur un bordereau d’émission, une expédition en forme de tous les baux, contrats, jugements, testaments, déclarations, états de recouvrement, titres nouveaux et autres, concernant les recettes dont la perception lui est confiée.

Le comptable peut demander, au besoin, que les originaux des actes formant titre au profit de la collectivité lui soient remis contre récépissé.
