Article D711-67 of the French Commercial code

I. – The compulsory tasks carried out by the establishments of the network of chambers of commerce and industry by virtue of legislative or regulatory provisions and giving rise to services rendered to users shall be carried out under conditions that ensure, in particular, the continuity and quality of the service throughout the national territory, by any means, including electronically.

II. – Unless otherwise stipulated, the tasks mentioned in I which constitute administrative public service tasks are performed free of charge.

However, additional services exceeding the normal performance of these services may be subject to remuneration for services rendered, after the content and pricing of these services have been made known to users.

I. – Les missions obligatoires remplies par les établissements du réseau des chambres de commerce et d’industrie en vertu de dispositions législatives ou réglementaires et donnant lieu à des prestations et services rendus aux usagers sont exercées dans des conditions qui assurent notamment la continuité du service et sa qualité sur l’ensemble du territoire national, par tous moyens, y compris par voie électronique.

II. – Sauf disposition contraire, les missions mentionnées au I et qui constituent des missions de service public administratif sont exercées à titre gratuit.

Toutefois, les prestations supplémentaires excédant l’exécution normale de ces services peuvent faire l’objet d’une rémunération pour services rendus, après que le contenu et la tarification de ces prestations ont été portés à la connaissance des usagers.
