Article D8121-1 of the French Labour Code

The Conseil national de l’inspection du travail (National Labour Inspection Council), which is attached to the Minister for Labour, contributes to ensuring, through its advisory role to the Minister, that the tasks and guarantees of labour inspection are carried out, as defined in particular by ILO Conventions 81 and 129 on labour inspection and by this Code.

Le Conseil national de l’inspection du travail, institué auprès du ministre chargé du travail, contribue à assurer, par ses attributions consultatives auprès du ministre, l’exercice des missions et garanties de l’inspection du travail telles qu’elles sont notamment définies par les conventions n° 81 et n° 129 de l’OIT sur l’inspection du travail et par le présent code.
