Article D8121-3 of the French Labour Code

The Conseil national de l’inspection du travail (National Labour Inspection Council) may be consulted by the Minister responsible for labour, by another minister in charge of a labour inspection service or by the central labour inspection authority on any question of a general nature concerning compliance with the tasks and guarantees of the labour inspection.

The opinion issued is forwarded to the ministers and the central authority and communicated to the relevant technical committee.

Article D8121-3

Le Conseil national de l’inspection du travail peut être saisi par le ministre chargé du travail, par un autre ministre en charge d’un service d’inspection du travail ou par l’autorité centrale de l’inspection du travail de toute question à caractère général concernant le respect des missions et garanties de l’inspection du travail.

L’avis rendu est transmis aux ministres, à l’autorité centrale et communiqué au comité technique compétent.
