Article L1123-15 of the French Public Health Code

Subject to the provisions of this chapter, the provisions of chapters III, V and VI of this title apply respectively to research involving the human person, clinical investigations and performance studies which are classified as a national defence secret within the meaning ofarticle 413-9 of the Criminal Code and which are carried out for protection purposes. Such research, clinical investigations and performance studies are referred to as “research, clinical investigations and performance studies involving national defence secrets”.

Article L1123-15

Sous réserve des dispositions du présent chapitre, les dispositions des chapitres III, V et VI du présent titre s’appliquent respectivement aux recherches impliquant la personne humaine, aux investigations cliniques et aux études des performances présentant un caractère de secret de la défense nationale au sens de l’article 413-9 du code pénal et qui sont menées à des fins de protection. Ces recherches, investigations cliniques et études des performances sont dénommées “ recherches, investigations cliniques et études des performances relevant du secret de la défense nationale ”.
