Article L1133-10 of the French Public Health Code

The unauthorised use of the title of medical genetic counsellor or of a diploma, certificate or other title legally required for the practice of this profession is punishable in the same way as the offence of usurpation of title provided for in article 433-17 of the French Pen al Code.

Legal entities declared criminally liable, under the conditions provided for in article 121-2 of the French Penal Code, for the offence defined in this article are liable to the fine provided for in article 433-17 of the French Penal Code in accordance with the procedures provided for inarticle 131-38 of the same code, as well as the penalties provided for in 2° to 4° of article 433-25 of the same code.

L’usage sans droit de la qualité de conseiller en génétique médicale ou d’un diplôme, certificat ou autre titre légalement requis pour l’exercice de cette profession est puni comme le délit d’usurpation de titre prévu à l’article 433-17 du code pénal.

Les personnes morales déclarées responsables pénalement, dans les conditions prévues par l’article 121-2 du code pénal, de l’infraction définie au présent article encourent l’amende prévue à l’article 433-17 du code pénal suivant les modalités prévues par l’article 131-38 du même code, ainsi que les peines prévues aux 2° à 4° de l’article 433-25 du même code.
