Article L1141-1 of the French Public Health Code

Undertakings and organisations offering cover against the risks of disability or death must not take into account the results of an examination of the genetic characteristics of a person applying for this cover, even if these are communicated to them by the person concerned or with his or her agreement. In addition, they may not ask any questions relating to genetic tests and their results, or request a person to undergo genetic tests, before the contract is concluded and throughout the term of the contract.

Article L1141-1
