Article L115-21 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The penalties mentioned in articles L. 115-19 and L. 115-20 may not be pronounced before the expiry of a period of thirty days from notification of the document by which the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée has informed the person liable for payment of the penalty it intends to apply, the reasons for this penalty and the opportunity available to the person concerned to present their observations within this period.

Article L115-21

Les sanctions mentionnées aux articles L. 115-19 et L. 115-20 ne peuvent être prononcées avant l’expiration d’un délai de trente jours à compter de la notification du document par lequel le Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée a fait connaître au redevable la sanction qu’il envisage de lui appliquer, les motifs de celle-ci et la possibilité dont dispose l’intéressé de présenter ses observations dans ce délai.
