Article L1222-15 of the French Labour Code

If the employee chooses not to return to his original company during or at the end of the mobility period, his employment contract with his employer is terminated. This termination constitutes a resignation which is not subject to any notice period other than that provided for in the amendment mentioned in article L. 1222-13.

Lorsque le salarié choisit de ne pas réintégrer son entreprise d’origine au cours ou au terme de la période de mobilité, le contrat de travail qui le lie à son employeur est rompu. Cette rupture constitue une démission qui n’est soumise à aucun préavis autre que celui prévu par l’avenant mentionné à l’article L. 1222-13.
