Article L1233-72-1 of the French Labour Code

Reclassification leave may include periods of work during which it is suspended. These periods of work are carried out for any employer, with the exception of private individuals, under fixed-term employment contracts as provided for in article L. 1242-3, renewable once by way of derogation from articles L. 1243-13 and L. 1243-13-1, or temporary employment contracts as provided for in article L. 1251-7. At the end of these periods, the redeployment leave resumes. The employer may provide for a postponement of the initial term of the leave in proportion to the periods of work performed.
