Article L1243-8-1 of the French Public Health Code

An order by the Minister for Health, issued after consultation with the Agence de la biomédecine, the Haute Autorité de santé and representatives of health establishments and medical biology laboratories, defines the rules of good practice for the storage and traceability of human biological samples taken for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes or during an autopsy carried out for medical purposes.

Un arrêté du ministre chargé de la santé, pris après avis de l’Agence de la biomédecine, de la Haute Autorité de santé et des représentants des établissements de santé et des laboratoires de biologie médicale, définit les règles de bonne pratique en matière de conservation et de traçabilité des échantillons biologiques humains prélevés à des fins diagnostiques ou thérapeutiques ou à l’occasion d’une autopsie réalisée à des fins médicales.
