Article L1248-10 of the French Labour Code

Failure to renew a fixed-term employment contract in accordance with the stipulations of a branch agreement or convention adopted in application ofarticle L. 1243-13 or, where applicable, the provisions ofarticle L. 1243-13-1 is punishable by a fine of 3,750 euros. A repeat offence is punishable by a fine of 7,500 euros and six months’ imprisonment.

Le fait de renouveler le contrat de travail à durée déterminée en méconnaissance des stipulations d’une convention ou d’un accord de branche prises en application de l’article L. 1243-13 ou, lorsqu’elles s’appliquent, des dispositions de l’article L. 1243-13-1 est puni d’une amende de 3 750 euros. La récidive est punie d’une amende de 7 500 euros et d’un emprisonnement de six mois.
