Paying an employee holding a fixed-term employment contract less than the remuneration that would be received in the same company, after the trial period, by an employee holding an open-ended employment contract with equivalent professional qualifications and performing the same duties, in breach of article L. 1242-15, is punishable by a fine of 3,750 euros.
A repeat offence is punishable by a fine of 7,500 euros and six months’ imprisonment.
