Article L1263-1 of the French Labour Code

The enforcement officers referred to in Article L. 8112-1 and the authorities responsible for coordinating their actions are empowered to provide each other with any information and documents required to enforce the provisions of this Title.

They may also communicate such information and documents to officials vested with similar powers in foreign States and to the authorities responsible for coordinating their actions in those States.

The enforcement officers referred to in Article L. 8271-1-2 have a right of access to data from posting declarations sent to the Labour Inspectorate pursuant to Articles L. 1262-2-1 and L. 1262-4-1 which are necessary for the performance of their task of combating illegal employment.

Les agents de contrôle mentionnés à l’article L. 8112-1 et les autorités chargées de la coordination de leurs actions sont habilités à se communiquer réciproquement tous les renseignements et documents nécessaires pour faire appliquer les dispositions du présent titre.

Ils peuvent également communiquer ces renseignements et documents aux agents investis de pouvoirs analogues dans les Etats étrangers et aux autorités chargées de la coordination de leurs actions dans ces Etats.

Les agents de contrôle mentionnés à l’article L. 8271-1-2 disposent d’un droit d’accès aux données issues des déclarations de détachement transmises à l’inspection du travail en application des articles L. 1262-2-1 et L. 1262-4-1 qui sont nécessaires à l’accomplissement de leur mission de lutte contre le travail illégal.
