Article L1272-5 of the French Public Health Code

As stated in Article 511-7 of the Criminal Code, reproduced below:

“The fact of removing organs or transplanting organs, removing tissues or cells, transplanting tissues or administering cell therapy preparations, or preserving or processing tissues or cell therapy preparations in an establishment that has not obtained the authorisation required by Articles L. 1233-1, L. 1234-2, L. 1242-1, L. 1243-2 or L. 1243-6 of the Public Health Code, or after the withdrawal or suspension of this authorisation, is punishable by two years’ imprisonment and a fine of 30,000 euros. “

” Le fait de procéder à des prélèvements d’organes ou des greffes d’organes, à des prélèvements de tissus ou de cellules, à des greffes de tissus ou à des administrations de préparations de thérapie cellulaire, à la conservation ou à la transformation de tissus ou de préparations de thérapie cellulaire dans un établissement n’ayant pas obtenu l’autorisation prévue par les articles L. 1233-1, L. 1234-2, L. 1242-1, L. 1243-2 ou L. 1243-6 du code de la santé publique, ou après le retrait ou la suspension de cette autorisation, est puni de deux ans d’emprisonnement et de 30 000 euros d’amende. “
