Article L1272-9 of the French Public Health Code

As stated in Article 511-19-1 of the Criminal Code, reproduced below:

Art. 511-19-1 -The removal, preservation or use of embryonic or foetal tissues or cells following termination of pregnancy under conditions that do not comply with those set out in the first, second and fourth paragraphs of Article L. 1241-5 of the Public Health Code or for purposes other than diagnostic, therapeutic or scientific purposes is punishable by two years’ imprisonment and a fine of 30,000 euros.

Comme il est dit à l’article 511-19-1 du code pénal ci-après reproduit :

Art. 511-19-1.-Le fait, à l’issue d’une interruption de grossesse, de prélever, conserver ou utiliser des tissus ou cellules embryonnaires ou foetaux dans des conditions non conformes à celles prévues par les premier, deuxième et quatrième alinéas de l’article L. 1241-5 du code de la santé publique ou pour des finalités autres que diagnostiques, thérapeutiques ou scientifiques est puni de deux ans d’emprisonnement et de 30 000 euros d’amende.
