Article L1273-6 of the French Public Health Code

As stated in Article 511-13 of the Criminal Code, reproduced below:

“Making the benefit of a gamete donation conditional on the designation by the recipient couple of a person who has voluntarily agreed to make such a donation to a third party couple, in breach of Article L. 1244-7 of the Public Health Code, is punishable by two years’ imprisonment and a fine of €30,000. “

” Le fait de subordonner le bénéfice d’un don de gamètes à la désignation par le couple receveur d’une personne ayant volontairement accepté de procéder à un tel don en faveur d’un couple tiers en violation de l’article L. 1244-7 du code de la santé publique est puni de deux ans d’emprisonnement et de 30 000 euros d’amende. “
