Article L141-3 of the French Commercial code

The seller shall, notwithstanding any stipulation to the contrary, be liable for the warranty due to the inaccuracy of its statements under the conditions laid down by the articles 1644 and 1645 of the Civil Code.

Intermediaries, drafters of deeds and their agents, are jointly and severally liable with him if they are aware of the inaccuracy of the statements made.

Le vendeur est, nonobstant toute stipulation contraire, tenu de la garantie à raison de l’inexactitude de ses énonciations dans les conditions édictées par les articles 1644 et 1645 du code civil.

Les intermédiaires, rédacteurs des actes et leurs préposés, sont tenus solidairement avec lui s’ils connaissent l’inexactitude des énonciations faites.
