Article L1424-24-6 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Board of Directors may provide for the representation, in an advisory capacity, of partner organisations of the fire and rescue service. The representatives of the organisations thus designated by the Board of Directors are appointed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors on their proposal.

Le conseil d’administration peut prévoir la représentation, avec voix consultative, des organismes partenaires du service d’incendie et de secours. Les représentants des organismes ainsi désignés par le conseil d’administration sont nommés par le président du conseil d’administration sur proposition de ceux-ci.
