An administrative and technical commission for the fire and rescue services is set up under the board of directors of the fire and rescue service.
This commission is consulted on matters of a technical or operational nature concerning the fire and rescue services, subject to the provisions of article L1424-40.
The administrative and technical commission of the fire and rescue services comprises:
1° Representatives of professional and volunteer firefighters, elected within four months of the general renewal of municipal councils by all firefighters in service in the department;
2° Representatives of local civil servants in the fire and rescue service who are not professional firefighters, elected within four months of the general renewal of municipal councils by all local civil servants in the fire and rescue service who are not professional firefighters;
3° The chief medical officer of the health subdirectorate, the gender and anti-discrimination referent and the safety and security referent.
This committee is chaired by the departmental director of fire and rescue services.
Elections to the administrative and technical commission of the fire and rescue services and to the departmental advisory committee of volunteer firefighters are organised by the fire and rescue service.
