The regional health agencies may enter into a contract with the organisations mentioned inarticle L. 111-1 of the Mutual Health Code and the doctors employed by these organisations, on the basis of which these doctors may carry out all or part of their activity in an area characterised by insufficient healthcare provision or difficulties in access to healthcare, as mentioned in article L. 1434-4. This contract may specify the conditions under which the practitioners in the establishments concerned are compensated for their hardship.
The conditions under which these doctors practice are set out in an agreement signed between the regional health agency, the mutual health insurance organisation and the structure or health professional hosting them.
