Article L1454-9 of the French Public Health Code

The procedures established by the agents mentioned in article L. 1454-6 against a person mentioned in article L. 1453-4, on the basis of the offence defined in article L. 1454-7, are reported, as soon as they are closed, to the competent administrative authority or to the professional association concerned for possible referral to its disciplinary body. Any decisions taken by these disciplinary bodies in this context are then forwarded to the public prosecutor at the judicial court within whose jurisdiction the professional is registered.

Les procédures établies par les agents mentionnés à l’article L. 1454-6 à l’encontre d’une personne mentionnée à l’article L. 1453-4, sur le fondement de l’infraction définie à l’article L. 1454-7, font l’objet d’un signalement, dès leur clôture, à l’autorité administrative compétente ou à l’ordre professionnel concerné pour saisine éventuelle de son organe disciplinaire. Les décisions prises, le cas échéant, par ces organes disciplinaires dans ce cadre sont ensuite transmises au procureur de la République près le tribunal judiciaire dans le ressort duquel le professionnel est inscrit au tableau de l’ordre.
