The provisions of the preliminary chapter of title I of book I of this part, with the exception of those of article L. 1110-7 , are applicable to the French Southern and Antarctic Territories subject to the following adaptation:
In article L. 1110-4, the last sentence of the eighth paragraph shall not apply and the following two paragraphs shall be added to the said article:
The consultant practitioners of the medical control department and the persons placed under their authority shall only have access, in compliance with medical confidentiality, to personal health data if this is strictly necessary for the performance of their duties.
Members of the Inspectorate General of Social Affairs who hold a diploma, certificate or other qualification entitling them to practise the profession of doctor in the local authority shall have access, in compliance with medical confidentiality, to personal health data only if it is strictly necessary for the performance of their duties when visiting the premises.
