For the application in New Caledonia of article L. 1142-7, the first sentence of the first paragraph is replaced by the following provisions: “The matter may be referred to the commission by any person who considers that he or she has suffered damage as a result of research involving the human person or, where applicable, by his or her legal representative. “
For the application in French Polynesia of Article L. 1142-7, the first sentence is replaced by the following provisions:
“The matter may be referred to the Commission by any person who considers himself to be the victim of damage attributable to research involving the human person, or by his legal representative in the case of a minor. “
For the application of Article L. 1142-8 in New Caledonia and French Polynesia, the first sentence of the second paragraph shall read as follows: “The opinion of the Commission shall be issued within six months of the referral.
