Article L1874-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

I. – Article L. 1617-1, with the exception of its last paragraph, and articles L. 1617-2and L. 1617-3 shall apply to the communes of French Polynesia subject to the adaptations provided for in II of this Article.

II. – In the first two paragraphs of Article L. 1617-1 and in Articles L. 1617-2 and L. 1617-3, the words: “, of the department or region”, “, of a department or region”, “, the president of the departmental council or the president of the regional council”, “, of the president of the departmental council or the president of the regional council” and “, the departmental authorities or the regional authorities” are deleted.
