Article L2123-24-1-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Each year, the municipalities draw up a statement showing all the allowances of any kind, denominated in euros, received by the elected representatives sitting on the municipal council, in respect of any mandate and any functions exercised within them and within any union within the meaning of Books VII and VIII of Part Five or any company mentioned in Book V of Part One or a subsidiary of one of these companies. This statement is communicated each year to the municipal councillors prior to the examination of the municipal budget.

Chaque année, les communes établissent un état présentant l’ensemble des indemnités de toute nature, libellées en euros, dont bénéficient les élus siégeant au conseil municipal, au titre de tout mandat et de toutes fonctions exercés en leur sein et au sein de tout syndicat au sens des livres VII et VIII de la cinquième partie ou de toute société mentionnée au livre V de la première partie ou filiale d’une de ces sociétés. Cet état est communiqué chaque année aux conseillers municipaux avant l’examen du budget de la commune.
