Article L213-19 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The liability of the members of the bodies responsible for the management, administration or control of associations is that defined, depending on the case, by article L. 225-251, the second paragraph of article L. 225-253, articles L. 225-254 and L. 225-257 of the French Commercial Code.

When an association issues bonds and meets the criteria set out in article L. 612-2 of the French Commercial Code, the provisions of article L. 642-3 of this Code apply to its directors.

La responsabilité des membres des organes chargés de la direction, de l’administration ou du contrôle des associations est celle définie, selon les cas, par l’article L. 225-251, le deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 225-253, les articles L. 225-254 et L. 225-257 du code de commerce.

Lorsqu’une association émet des obligations et remplit les critères posés par l’article L. 612-2 du code de commerce, les dispositions de l’article L. 642-3 du présent code sont applicables à ses dirigeants.
