Article L2132-6 of the French Labour Code

Trade unions may set up special mutual aid and pension funds for their members.

The funds of these funds may not be seized within the limits determined by the Code de la mutualité.

Any person who withdraws from a trade union retains the right to be a member of the mutual aid and retirement societies for old age to whose assets he has contributed through contributions or payment of funds.

Les syndicats professionnels peuvent constituer entre leurs membres des caisses spéciales de secours mutuels et de retraites.

Les fonds de ces caisses sont insaisissables dans les limites déterminées par le code de la mutualité.

Toute personne qui se retire d’un syndicat conserve le droit d’être membre des sociétés de secours mutuels et de retraite pour la vieillesse à l’actif desquelles elle a contribué par des cotisations ou versement de fonds.
