Article L2136-1 of the French Labour Code

Any director or administrator of a professional trade union or union of trade unions who fails to comply with the provisions of article L. 2131-1, relating to the purpose of trade unions, is liable to a fine of 3,750 euros.

The public prosecutor may also order the dissolution of the trade union or union of trade unions.

Any false declaration relating to the articles of association and the names and capacities of the directors or administrators is punishable by a fine of 3,750 euros.

Le fait pour un directeur ou un administrateur d’un syndicat professionnel ou d’une union de syndicats de méconnaître les dispositions de l’article L. 2131-1, relatives à l’objet des syndicats, est puni d’une amende de 3 750 euros.

La dissolution du syndicat ou de l’union de syndicats peut en outre être prononcée à la diligence du procureur de la République.

Toute fausse déclaration relative aux statuts et aux noms et qualités des directeurs ou administrateurs est punie d’une amende de 3 750 euros.
