Each trade union delegate has the necessary time to carry out his duties.
This time is at least equal to :
1° Twelve hours per month in companies or establishments with between fifty and one hundred and fifty employees ;
2° Eighteen hours per month in companies or establishments with between one hundred and fifty-one and four hundred and ninety-nine employees;
3° Twenty-four hours per month in companies or establishments with at least five hundred employees.
This time may be exceeded in exceptional circumstances.
Unless there is a collective agreement to the contrary, when the elected or appointed staff representative is an employee mentioned in article L. 3121-58, the credit for hours is grouped into half-days which are deducted from the annual number of days worked set in the employee’s individual agreement. A half-day corresponds to four hours of office. When the remaining credit or fraction of the credit is less than four hours, the staff representative benefits from it under conditions defined by a decree of the Conseil d’Etat.
