Article L2223-1 of the French Public Health Code

Any association that has been duly registered for at least five years on the date of the acts, and whose statutory purpose includes defending the rights of women to access contraception and termination of pregnancy, may exercise the rights granted to civil parties in respect of the offences provided for in article L. 2223-2 when the acts were committed with a view to preventing or attempting to prevent a voluntary termination of pregnancy or the prior acts provided for in articles L. 2212-3 to L. 2212-8.

Toute association régulièrement déclarée depuis au moins cinq ans à la date des faits, dont l’objet statutaire comporte la défense des droits des femmes à accéder à la contraception et à l’interruption de grossesse, peut exercer les droits reconnus à la partie civile en ce qui concerne les infractions prévues par l’article L. 2223-2 lorsque les faits ont été commis en vue d’empêcher ou de tenter d’empêcher une interruption volontaire de grossesse ou les actes préalables prévus par les articles L. 2212-3 à L. 2212-8.
