Article L223-10 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The contractual interest rate applicable to the loans for which the savings bonds are issued is fixed. It may not exceed the rate referred to in article L. 313-5-1.

The conditions for amortising the face value of savings bonds and for paying the interest due are set by decree.

Le taux d’intérêt conventionnel applicable aux prêts en contrepartie desquels les bons de caisse sont délivrés est de nature fixe. Il n’excède pas le taux mentionné à l’article L. 313-5-1.

Les conditions d’amortissement de la valeur nominale des bons de caisse et celles du paiement des intérêts dus sont fixées par décret.
