Article L2361-2 of the French Labour Code

When a European Cooperative Society mentioned in article L. 2361-1 is a Community-scale undertaking or a Community-scale group of undertakings within the meaning of article L. 2341-2, title IV of this book relating to the European Works Council or to the information and consultation procedure in Community-scale undertakings is applicable neither to the European Cooperative Society nor to its subsidiaries.

By way of derogation from the first paragraph, when the special negotiation body takes the decision not to open negotiations or to close negotiations already opened, the same Title IV applies.

Article L2361-2

Lorsqu’une société coopérative européenne mentionnée à l’article L. 2361-1 est une entreprise de dimension communautaire ou un groupe d’entreprises de dimension communautaire au sens de l’article L. 2341-2, le titre IV du présent livre relatif au comité d’entreprise européen ou à la procédure d’information et de consultation dans les entreprises de dimension communautaire n’est applicable ni à la société coopérative européenne ni à ses filiales.

Par dérogation au premier alinéa, lorsque le groupe spécial de négociation prend la décision de ne pas engager de négociation ou de clore des négociations déjà engagées, le même titre IV s’applique.
