Article L2421-4 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The statement is published and displayed for at least two months.

It is notified to the holders of the rights of use mentioned in article L. 2421-2 as well as to persons who lease or who, in good faith, occupy or exploit the parcels over which these rights are exercised.

During the period of posting, any interested party may make written observations or complaints, which are decided upon by the town council.

A new statement is drawn up, taking into account the Town Council’s decisions on any complaints. On the date it is posted, it becomes final and may only be contested before the competent courts.

Article L2421-4

L’état est publié et affiché pendant deux mois au moins.

Il est notifié aux titulaires des droits de jouissance mentionnés à l’article L. 2421-2 ainsi qu’aux personnes qui louent ou qui, de bonne foi, occupent ou exploitent les parcelles sur lesquelles s’exercent ces droits.

Pendant la durée de l’affichage, tout intéressé peut formuler par écrit des observations ou réclamations, sur lesquelles il est statué par le conseil municipal.

Un nouvel état est établi en tenant compte des décisions du conseil municipal sur les réclamations éventuelles. Il a, à la date de son affichage, un caractère définitif et ne peut être contesté que devant les juridictions compétentes.
