Article L2511-10-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

I.-The provisions of article L. 2121-22-1 do not apply to the Borough Council.

II.-.The provisions of article L. 2143-1 shall apply to the arrondissement council, subject to the provisions below.

On the proposal of the arrondissement councils, the city council or the Paris council shall determine the boundaries of the districts. The arrondissement councils create a neighbourhood council for each neighbourhood.

I.-Les dispositions de l’article L. 2121-22-1 ne sont pas applicables au conseil d’arrondissement.

II.-Les dispositions de l’article L. 2143-1 sont applicables au conseil d’arrondissement, sous réserve des dispositions ci-après.

Sur proposition des conseils d’arrondissement, le conseil municipal ou le conseil de Paris fixe le périmètre des quartiers. Les conseils d’arrondissement créent pour chaque quartier un conseil de quartier.
