Article L252-11 of the French Commercial code

The use in dealings with third parties of all deeds, letters, notes and similar documents which do not include the particulars relating to the European Economic Interest Grouping prescribed in Article 25 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2137/85 of 25 July 1985 on the establishment of a European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) may be subject to an injunction, where appropriate subject to a penalty payment, under the conditions provided for in l’article L. 238-3.

L’utilisation dans les rapports avec les tiers de tous actes, lettres, notes et documents similaires ne comportant pas les mentions relatives au groupement européen d’intérêt économique prescrites à l’article 25 du règlement (CEE) n° 2137/85 du Conseil du 25 juillet 1985 relatif à l’institution d’un groupement européen d’intérêt économique (GEIE) peut faire l’objet d’une injonction, le cas échéant sous astreinte, dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 238-3.
