Article L2522-2 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The communes of the Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-de-Marne departments contribute to the expenses of the Paris fire brigade, including capital expenditure relating to the barracks.

After deduction of miscellaneous income, the allocation of these expenses is calculated in such a way that the respective expenses of the commune of Paris and the communes in question are proportional to the population figures of each of these communes.

Les communes des départements des Hauts-de-Seine, de la Seine-Saint-Denis et du Val-de-Marne participent aux dépenses de la brigade des sapeurs-pompiers de Paris, y compris les dépenses d’investissement afférentes au casernement.

Après déduction des recettes diverses, la répartition de ces dépenses est calculée de manière telle que les charges respectives de la commune de Paris et des communes considérées soient proportionnelles aux chiffres de la population de chacune de ces communes.
