Article L2544-18 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Complaints relating to the operations preceding the auction or to the auction itself shall, no later than the day of the auction, be addressed to the mayor either in writing or by oral statement taken in the minutes.

Complaints are judged by the mayor and the two assistant municipal councillors, by a majority of votes.

An appeal against their decision is open to the interested party within three days of its notification.

The appeal is judged by the municipal council.

Les réclamations relatives aux opérations qui précèdent l’adjudication ou à l’adjudication elle-même sont, au plus tard le jour de l’adjudication, adressées au maire soit par écrit, soit par déclaration orale prise en procès-verbal.

Les réclamations sont jugées par le maire et les deux conseillers municipaux assistants, à la majorité des voix.
