Article L3115-2 of the French Public Health Code

The costs resulting from the application of health measures prescribed for a means of transport pursuant to Article L. 3115-1 shall be borne by the operator of the means of transport concerned, and in particular the costs of immobilisation. If the means of transport is a ship, all the costs shall be borne by the shipowner, owner or operator.

Les frais résultant de l’application des mesures sanitaires prescrites pour un moyen de transport en application de l’article L. 3115-1 sont à la charge de l’exploitant du moyen de transport concerné, et notamment les frais d’immobilisation. Si le moyen de transport est un navire, l’ensemble des frais est à la charge de l’armateur, du propriétaire ou de l’exploitant.
