I.- In the event of an exceptional health situation, the consequences of which exceed the capacity of one or more health care structures in the region, the Director General of the regional health agency concerned may call on health professionals in the region who volunteer to provide support for these health care structures.
II.-When the consequences of the situation referred to in I exceed the treatment capacity of a region, the Director General of the regional health agency for the zone or the Minister for Health may request additional health resources from the Directors General of the regional health agencies for the other regions.
The latter will identify the healthcare professionals who volunteer to provide support to the healthcare structures in the region concerned.
The Director General of the regional health agency concerned by the situation will allocate, within the region, the volunteer healthcare professionals according to need.
III.-Healthcare professionals who carry out their activities in accordance with I and II benefit from the provisions of article L. 3133-6.
IV -I, II and III of this article do not apply to professionals from the armed forces health service.
