I.-The health reserve is called upon by reasoned order of the Minister for Health. The order determines the duration of the mobilisation of reservists as well as the authority to which they are assigned to carry out local, national or international missions.
II – Without prejudice to articles L. 1435-1 and L. 1435-2 of the present code, when it is necessary to reinforce the supply of healthcare in the territory of a region or a defence and security zone in the event of an exceptional health situation, health reservists may be called upon by reasoned decision of the Director General of the Regional Health Agency or the Director General of the Regional Agency for the Defence and Security Zone respectively.
