Article L321-32 of the French Commercial code

The expert mentioned in article L. 321-29 may not describe, present, estimate or put up for sale any property belonging to him, nor may he acquire, directly or indirectly on his own account, any property in the public auction sales in which he provides assistance.

Exceptionally, however, the expert may sell, through the intermediary of an operator mentioned in article L. 321-4, a property belonging to it provided that this is clearly and unequivocally stated in the advertisement.

Article L321-32

L’expert mentionné à l’article L. 321-29 ne peut décrire, présenter, estimer, ni mettre en vente un bien lui appartenant, ni se porter acquéreur directement ou indirectement pour son propre compte d’un bien dans les ventes aux enchères publiques auxquelles il apporte son concours.

A titre exceptionnel, l’expert peut cependant vendre, par l’intermédiaire d’un opérateur mentionné à l’article L. 321-4, un bien lui appartenant à condition qu’il en soit fait mention dans la publicité de manière claire et non équivoque.
