Article L3211-7 of the French Public Health Code

A person hospitalised in application of chapters II and III of the present code orarticle 706-135 of the code of criminal procedure in a care establishment retains the domicile that was his prior to hospitalisation for as long as this domicile remains at his disposal. However, service made there may, depending on the circumstances, be annulled by the courts.

Article L3211-7

La personne hospitalisée en application des chapitres II et III du présent code ou de l’article 706-135 du code de procédure pénale dans un établissement de soins conserve le domicile qui était le sien avant l’hospitalisation aussi longtemps que ce domicile reste à sa disposition. Néanmoins, les significations qui y auront été faites pourront, suivant les circonstances, être annulées par les tribunaux.
