Article L3221-4-1 A of the French Public Health Code

The establishment may enter into an agreement with a care, prevention, readaptation and rehabilitation association for the implementation of a therapeutic approach defined by the association.

In particular, the agreement specifies the terms and conditions for the provision of equipment and material and financial resources by the establishment and the conditions for their use by the association. It sets out the conditions under which hospital staff may contribute to the running and activities of the association. It sets out the procedures for medical supervision of its implementation.

The association reports annually in writing to the establishment on its management and the use of the resources made available to it.

L’établissement peut conclure avec une association de soins, de prévention, de réadaptation et de réhabilitation une convention pour la mise en œuvre d’une démarche thérapeutique qu’elle définit.

La convention précise notamment les modalités de mise à disposition par l’établissement d’équipements et de moyens matériels et financiers et les conditions de leur utilisation par l’association. Elle indique les conditions dans lesquelles le personnel hospitalier peut contribuer au fonctionnement et aux activités de l’association. Elle détermine les modalités de contrôle médical de son exécution.

L’association rend annuellement compte par écrit à l’établissement de sa gestion et de l’utilisation des moyens mis à sa disposition.
