The Director General of the Regional Health Agency shall designate, from among the health establishments authorised to provide psychiatric care and providing the public hospital service defined in article L. 6112-1, the health establishments providing the sector psychiatric service and its variations for children and adolescents. To ensure that the entire region is covered, it assigns each designated facility an intervention zone. Within this zone, the establishment undertakes to work in partnership with other players.
The Director General of the Regional Health Agency also works with these establishments to organise ways of meeting the needs of people in precarious situations who do not have a stable address in the area in question.
Each establishment determines, in the establishment project referred to in article L. 6143-2 or in the documents defining the medical policy referred to in article L. 6161-2-2, the organisational and operational procedures for this activity in the zone assigned to it and its application to children and adolescents, which it divides into local areas known as psychiatric sectors.
