Article L3232-2 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The financial aid mentioned in the seventh paragraph of Article L. 2224-31 is distributed by department.

The department shall, on the basis of proposals submitted by the local authorities, decide how this aid is to be distributed between the organising authorities of a public electricity distribution network that are the project managers for rural electrification works and are therefore eligible.

Where, in a département, there is a public cooperation body set up in the field of electricity and bringing together all the contracting authorities eligible for this aid, the distribution is regulated by this public body.

Article L3232-2

Les aides financières mentionnées au septième alinéa de l’article L. 2224-31 sont réparties par département.

Le département règle, sur la base des propositions présentées par les collectivités, la répartition de ces aides entre les autorités organisatrices d’un réseau public de distribution d’électricité assurant la maîtrise d’ouvrage des travaux d’électrification rurale et pouvant à ce titre en bénéficier.

Quand, dans un département, existe un établissement public de coopération constitué dans le domaine de l’électricité et réunissant tous les maîtres d’ouvrage pouvant bénéficier de ces aides, la répartition est réglée par cet établissement public.
