Article L352-8 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The decision to refuse entry on the grounds of asylum and, where applicable, the transfer decision may not be enforced before the expiry of a period of forty-eight hours following their notification or, in the event of referral to the president of the administrative court, before the latter or the magistrate appointed for this purpose has ruled.
The provisions of Title IV shall apply.

La décision de refus d’entrée au titre de l’asile et, le cas échéant, la décision de transfert ne peuvent être exécutées avant l’expiration d’un délai de quarante-huit heures suivant leur notification ou, en cas de saisine du président du tribunal administratif, avant que ce dernier ou le magistrat désigné à cette fin n’ait statué.
Les dispositions du titre IV sont applicables.
