I.- As part of the certification defined in article L. 4022-1, healthcare professionals must establish, over a period of six years, that they have carried out a minimum programme of actions aimed at:
1° Updating their knowledge and skills;
2° Reinforcing the quality of their professional practices;
3° Improving their relationship with their patients;
4° Taking better account of their personal health.
II.-Actions carried out in the context of continuing professional development, continuing education and accreditation are taken into account when complying with the obligation to undergo periodic certification.
III. -Each healthcare professional chooses, from among the actions provided for in the periodic certification reference framework defined in article L. 4022-7 which apply to him/her, those which he/she intends to follow or carry out during the period mentioned in I.
For salaried professionals, this choice is made in conjunction with the employer in accordance with procedures defined by decree.
For healthcare professionals subject to the provisions of article L. 4138-2 of the Defence Code, this choice is made with the agreement of the military authority.
